hello! my name is mia d. i live in wilmington, north carolina with my husband, tony, and our two high schoolers, ava and christien. we have two pups named spencer + hazel. we are from indiana, but have been here 11 years + now! i traveled back to indianapolis and to south bend to shoot weddings for several years with my dear friend, chrissy. we had a beautiful business: mia grace weddings. after a lot of travel with that, i decided to keep it local here to wilmington and have done family shoots, newborn sessions (both at the hospital and at-home) and 1:1 sessions. i have photographed pets with my dear friend kate's volunteer opportunity and have also captured seniors as they are about to embark on their futures! i love people and capturing emotions and moments with them. laughing and joy and even tears are why i continue to pursue my photography even with the iPhone stealing the show! there is something about being behind the lens that sparks for me and i do believe always will. thank you for being here and for partnering with me to capture your moments!
